Louisville Ballet Community Engagement partners with several local and regional libraries, creating access to the art form and sharing our love of dance with the community! Books and ballet are a great fit and we love bringing stories to life through dance. Read below to find out what upcoming library events are scheduled and plan to join us!
Boys, Books & Ballet
Calling all boys who love to dance! Join male dancers from Louisville Ballet’s Community Engagement Team as we explore boys and ballet. We’ll read some books, learn some moves and celebrate the importance of male dancers in the ballet world. Families and children of all ages and gender identities are welcome to attend.

NUTCRACKER FAMILY STORYTIME
Join us as we spread holiday magic! Children of all ages and their families are invited to a special Nutcracker Family Storytime with Louisville Ballet. Dancers will read the classic holiday story, The Nutcracker, followed by movement exploring characters from the book and holiday crafts. Plus, one lucky family will go home with four tickets to see a performance of Louisville Ballet’s The Brown-Forman Nutcracker at The Kentucky Center!
