The Louisville Ballet Youth Ensemble’s inaugural Winter Concert is a celebration of the strength, progress, and tight-knit community of our LBYE Dancers. Featuring excerpts from many of the pillars of classical ballet repertoire (La Bayadere, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, Coppélia, Raymonda, and Swan Lake), this performance will showcase the broad range of technical capabilities and the developing artistry of these young dancers. A new contemporary work by Louisville Ballet Company Dancer, Sanjay Saverimuttu, will make its debut, demonstrating the dancers’ versatility in movement style and unique perspective on being a part of the creation of new repertoire.
