The Louisville Ballet School is so excited to be a part of the 2024 Cultural Pass Experience!
Cultural Pass offers young people ages 0-21 and their families in the Southern Indiana and Greater Louisville area access to over 40 arts venues and programs, free of charge! The Louisville Ballet School will host 2 FREE events throughout the summer where families can enjoy a captivating performance at the Ogle Center or try out a variety of dance classes at our St. Matthews Studios.

For our first Cultural Pass Day this summer, come and enjoy our Summer Showcase Performance! This performance is a culmination of all the hard work from dancers participating in the Louisville Ballet Summer Intensive program. Featuring ballet, contemporary, musical theater and more, witness dancers from all over the country who have auditioned to be a part of Louisville Ballet’s distinguished program. Our Summer Showcase Performance is a one-time event! You don’t want to miss the opportunity to see original choreography from our world-renowned faculty and guest faculty.

Our second Cultural Pass Day sees the return of our Free Dance Day! Join us at our St. Matthews studios for an array of different dance classes taught by our dedicated faculty. Children ages 6-12 can try out ballet, modern, and musical theater jazz classes, while our youngest guests ages 3-5 can enjoy a Creative Movement or Pre-Ballet class! All levels of dance experience are encouraged to attend.
Dance attire (leotard, tights, ballet slippers, etc.) is welcome, but not required. We recommend dancers wear form fitting athletic attire and may wear socks or dance barefoot.
A caregiver must remain in the facility for the duration of their dancer’s class.
