The Louisville Ballet was founded in 1952 and celebrated 62 seasons of dance in the 2013-2014 season. The organization is comprised of a professional company of 24 dancers and 13 trainees, the Louisville Ballet School and broad-based education/outreach programs. The Company presents four main stage productions, including The Brown-Forman Nutcracker, and two in-studio productions each season to more than 40,000 patrons. Part-time Accounting / Nonprofit Management Support
This employee in this position will work closely with the Director of Finance to provide general support to finance department. This person will also assist with QuickBooks entries for accounts receivables/deposits and payables entry for all aspects of the organization
Must have an interest in the non-profit accounting field, with basic QuickBooks knowledge a plus. Applicants need a good sense of humor, must be detail-oriented and possess a willingness to learn. Hourly wage commensurate with experience. Paid Internship option available. Start date is as soon as possible.

Part-time Patron Services Assistant
Working closely with, and reporting to, the Patron Services Manager, the Patron Services Assistant will assist with the daily functions of the Patron Services department. This is a part-time position averaging 12-15 hours per week which includes occasional evening and weekend work during the Ballet’s season.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Process ticket orders in the Tessitura ticketing system. Processes donation requests. Represents the Louisville Ballet at all functions including overseeing patron relations and show management at performances, as well as promotional opportunities, student matinees, and special events.
Qualifications: Candidate should possess excellent people skills, both on the telephone and in person. Front line experience is essential to this position. Familiarity with Tessitura, or similar ticketing system, is preferred. Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel as needed. Flexibility, a sense of humor and an aptitude for teamwork are necessary. A background and/or interest in the performing arts is helpful.
